Finally got Ian uploaded!!

Finally!! I got a new Sim off and uploaded!  I feel like this week so far has speed by...maybe my fault since I fussed so much about the weekend flying by.  Note to self....be more careful what I say out loud or write down...seems to be some haters in the day's of the weeks!! Lol!!

Of course Ian can only be downloaded @ Cstyles!  I'm so happyz!! Who knows...I might get another one out this weekend...don't know yet...I am babysitting tonight and it depends on how pooped I am.  I have a big night planned for my little God Daughter and I.  GIRLS NIGHT!! Mani/pedi, making cookies, eating cookies (yummy) with a little icecream and MOVIES!! I'm looking forward to it!

It's Monday again...already?!

So it's Monday already AGAIN...?!  Where did the weekend go?  I feel as if I've been ambushed...robbed...those two precious day's called...'weekend'...have cruelly been stolen from me!  Okay...maybe I exaggerate a tad...but I swear it does seem as if it still should be let's say...Saturday morning!

Yep...Saturday morning...no worries...no work....no endless phone calls from solicitors trying to sell me some junk I don't need nor want, no scams telling me that I've won tons of money from some dead distant relative I've never met who resided in Africa!  Nope...Good ol' Saturday.

I'm too old for Saturday morning cartoons...nah...outgrew that years ago, and I really don't have to rush up out of bed to do laundry or housework because I live alone and...'who cares'!?  Who cares if I need to run the vacuum cleaner and dust the furniture? Who cares if the kitchen floor could use a good old on my knee's kind of scrub or my oven needs cleaning?  Who cares if I truly need to clean all the mirrors in each bathroom?

No one...or at least they shouldn't...if they aren't paying my rent then you have NO right to care! I don't care and I pay the rent!  I'm NOT living in filth mind you...could never tolerate that...no...wasn't raised that way.  But I've learned that it isn't a necessity to race up bright and early...do ton's of housework...only at the end of the day sit back, and although happy that I accomplished something...feeling a little irritated because was it really needed to do this massive amount of housework for myself?

Nope..I've learned to slow down and take it one day at a time...but back to the problem...who stole my weekend from me so I could decide NOT to do all that insane and inane housework?

Should I file charges?  Call the FBI or CIA...who stole those two glorious days from me and left not a hint behind?

Or should I just let it go and wait until the next weekend and pray the weekend thieves won't steal it away from me...

Hot enough for ya?!

Is it hot enough for everyone?!  I'm sooo glad to be back indoors...in my nice air conditioned apartment and not sweltering outside like I was earlier.  Good heavens I make one stop...stayed for possibly 2 hours...give or take an hour...and by the time we went back to the car we almost cooked waiting on the air to finally cool us off!  And this is a brand new car mind you...fantastic air conditioning system...yet we slow baked waiting to finally feel the air hit us.  The best thing was opening up my front door and feeling that blast of cool air rush towards me.

Ah...inside...air conditioner...cold glass of tea by my side...potato chips...and stupid stuff playing on the television...life is good!! Lol!

Finally caught up!

Okay...finally feel like I've gotten somewhere as far as catching up!!  Evie is truly a trooper and steps right up to the plate when it's time to do some work on Cstyles!! What would I do without that girl?! And yay for EvaTer being back and getting better! Eva...hun...take care of yourself doll!

So with the forum caught up...for now...until the next update is due I've continued now working on Elite...at least mentally...ideas and such that I want to incorporate into it. I think once it's up and fully functional it is going to be one hot spot for the more mature Simmers!!

Also I'm still working on the arcade section which has proven to be harder than I originally thought!  I want to have some multi-player games embedded on Cstyles so we can all schedule like a party and games night un-sim related...you know...just a night off from the sims for a bit.

On another subject entirely...I was browsing the premium channels on cable this past weekend and I learned something new...I didn't know that we truly had real live Gigolo's and they are working in Vegas and it's legal! I thought that was just something that was invented for television and movies!! Some pretty hawt dudes on this show and it's more of a reality show...but it's all cool and not at all raunchy.  I consider it to be more 'informative' somewhat 'educational' as well as 'entertaining'.... Lol!

Cstyles gets a new facelift!

So with all the happenings on Cstyles in the past several weeks and basically feeling as though Cstyles had actually been violated, I felt it was time for a tiny facelift. For the site...not for me!! Lol!

So browsing I go...I viewed several different templates and colors, applied several in 'test' mode to see if I liked the look and finally decided on this dark purple with a black base background.  I'm so loving the colors!!!  Once I got it up Evie spotted it and jumped right in!! (I so <3 that girl) and started putting her touches to it.  It was great watching the forum transform and get a total rejuvenation!!!  Such a great feeling!

So it took several hours but finally we got to a point where we both could call it a night and hopefully pick up tomorrow where we left off.

The portal (home page) still needs some work but that is a whole different area so to speak; but it is the most important.  It's the first thing you see when you click on the Cstyles link if you are browsing the web and come across us so it has to stand out a bit.

After this is all said and done I plan to do my basic updates, vid, funnies and put up a new 'member' sim on the home page!  I've got a beauty in mind! Kami uploaded this beautiful sexy Sim that I know deserves front page and I can't wait to show her off!

Well...that's it for now...I'm guessing it's finally time to settle down for the night/day and get some rest.  I was going to go in game and do some things but I just don't feel up to it right now even though my game has been running now for hours. (I hope that's not a bad thing...) I'm just too pooped!

Oh I have such ideas for enhancing Cstyles!!!

Who does this kind of thing...I know who...

Now...who joins a forum, befriends the members and staff...whom all welcomed warmly, then leave to start their own forum, (which I had NO problem with and even try to support all Cstyles members blogs and forums)...but they start their new forum off and it looks like a mini version of Cstyles!!!   First it was the same colors as Cstyles and upon further inspection...it clearly had ripped off several areas of Cstyles and incorporated them into their new forum!!!! Has your jaw dropped yet...?  Be patient...it will!


I visited said site because I had been invited to visit and join...so that is what I was going to do...join their forum. Of course I didn't join after seeing what was taking place over there.

I immediately pm'd this couple and told them that I was very shocked to see the extreme likeness to Cstyles and questioned what they were doing. He, (I'll give names and site info later) adamantly claimed there was NO likeness to Cstyles on his forum...which was of course false. He then tried to convince me that it was extremely hard to make a forum that looked different from another forum because we were so limited! Since when did the WWW, the world wide web become limited...? I mentioned this to him and he stated that it was no different from custom content looking like someone else's...which is a false. Show me 2 forums that look like one stole ideas from the other...?

I pointed out several sections they had stolen from Cstyles and just 'in your face' openly displayed on their forum.

edit:  I'm writing this not to be malicious, but to show people that this type of action is not good, fair nor respected and yes...I'm taking action against them.

This is so neat! Evie made this her siggy at Cstyles. WE know the reason and I love that she stood up and continues to stand up for Cstyles. I believe though...this should go to all! Support the originals and decline the fakes!
